- Download the ZIP above and unzip it anywhere on your computer.
- Open
chrome://extensionsin Chrome (or Edge / Brave / Arc). - Turn on Developer mode in the top-right.
- Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
- Pin the VeggieOS icon to your toolbar and start scanning.

Is the extension really free?
Yes. Forever. No account, no upsell.
Does it work on Safari / Firefox?
Currently Chromium browsers only (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera). Firefox is on the roadmap.
What data is sent when I press Analyze?
Only the ingredient text you select. No page URL, no cookies, no browsing history.
Why isn't it on the Chrome Web Store yet?
It will be — review in progress. The manual install is the current shortcut and uses the exact same code.
